The NSX nameplate brings back a lot of good memories for sports car enthusiasts. The first generation model debuted in 1990 and was designed to rival popular European sports cars. Fast, reliable and experimental in its design, the original NSX is still revered for breaking new ground. The 2017 NSX takes this legacy to impressive new heights through its unique and innovative design. Below is an introduction to some of the essential features of the new Acura car.
A Sight to Behold
Fierce, bold and expressive, the 2017 NSX is hard to look away from and impossible to forget. Taking design cues from its predecessor, the 2017 NSX is constructed with a “space frame” aluminum, carbon fiber and high-strength steel chassis and an all-aluminum body. The design makes the NSX light-weight and dynamic with great aerodynamic properties.
The NSX also maintains the essential wide stance all while incorporating the elegant Acura design DNA. The NSX contains some of the design language seen on the Acura Precision Concept, like unique sculpting with exaggerated curves and Jewel Eye headlights.

Excellence in Every Part
The 2017 Acura NSX in Arlington is engineered to perfection. The powerful 75-degree twin-turbo 3.5L V6 engine is meticulously hand-crafted by a master-builder. The engine works in conjunction with three electric motors and a nine-speed dual-clutch transaxle to deliver a total of 573 horsepower. Accelerating from 0 to 60 only takes three seconds, and the supercar can reach speeds of up to 191 mph. The NSX also features four drive modes: Quiet, Sport, Sport Plus and Track.
Sporty Add-Ons
For those who desire the full sports attire on their NSX, the Carbon Fiber Exterior Sport Package will satisfy. The package adds a dark chrome exhaust finisher and three carbon fiber accessories: front spoiler, rear diffuser and fiber side sills. Outside of this package, a carbon fiber roof, engine cover, brake rotors and rear spoiler are also available.
