The 2017 Acura MDX Sport Hybrid is getting ready to make its way to Vandergriff Acura, and we know fans are going to love what this eco-friendly SUV has to offer. From its features to its fuel-efficient powertrain, the hybrid model stands out from the competition and aims to impress.
When the MDX Sport Hybrid arrives, fans will have their choice between two trims: Technology Package and Advanced Package. The Tech variant offers room for up to seven passengers, while the Advanced model comes with six-passenger seating due to the inclusion of second-row captain’s chairs. Both grades also feature wood interior accents and stainless steel sport pedals that enhance the cabin’s overall aesthetic.
Powering the hybrid is a new 3.0L V6 engine and three electric motors that work together to deliver 321 horsepower and 289 lb.-ft. of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to the wheels. In addition to these integral components, the SUV gets a 4-mode integrated Dynamics System, offering Comfort, Normal, Sport and Sport+ modes. Electric Servo braking and Active Dampers are also included on both grades.
