Acura sought to make a major contribution to Art Week, ensuring that the artistry of their vehicles was front and center at the event. To achieve this, they teamed up with artist Dalkhafine to create new, exclusive works for Miami's Art Week.
Acura and Dalkhafine Join Forces for Art
Dalkhafine used the Acura ADX SUV as her canvas, producing a striking piece that garnered significant attention at the SCOPE Art Show. The event took place at Loews Hotel, where artists showcased their creations in a beach-inspired setting. Acura was the sole automotive partner of the exhibition.
French artist Dalkhafine's creation may have been the most eye-catching among the many impressive displays. Her Acura ADX featured colorful palm trees, clouds, and flowing stripes, making it the perfect artistic complement to the beach atmosphere and offering a fresh take on the ADX.
The transformed Acura ADX is special for its visual appeal and high-end features, including a Bang & Olufsen sound system and a heated steering wheel. As it travels, it will continue to turn heads while offering the luxury and performance of a top-tier SUV.
Acura made an excellent decision by enlisting Dalkhafine for this project. Her motion graphics and design expertise made her an ideal choice to bring this vision to life. The design is influenced by the early internet era of the 90s and the counterculture of the 1960s. A dedicated car enthusiast, Dalkhafine was honored to create this unique ADX for Acura.
She commented, "I'm inspired by speed and a huge fan of Formula One, especially Charles Leclerc. With this installation, I wanted to play with road imagery. I wanted the audience to follow playful and immersive paths."
