In 2024, Acura cars captured victories and podium finishes in various competitions at Road America. The TCX Integra Type S earned recognition for posting the fastest lap and winning two races during the event. The Acura NSX also made a strong entrance by achieving the fastest lap time before qualifying for a critical race. Throughout the event, the NSX secured podium finishes in three races.
The Winning Formula
Both the Type S and NSX are built for speed and high performance. Critical updates, along with excellent handling and acceleration, have made them even more competitive this year. The Type S featured a redesigned platform, making it even more race-prepared in 2024. The NSX has also seen ongoing improvements to increase its speed and handling, helping it earn three consecutive podium finishes and third place in its class at the 2024 Road America event.
Acura Integra Type S
The Acura Integra Type S is the top-tier model in Acura's lineup and the most performance-driven. It's designed with race-specific features, including 19-inch wheels and summer performance tires. The Type S also includes more powerful brakes and an adaptive exhaust system. Its sporty front seats and increased wheelbase enhance comfort and stability—a turbocharged engine and a six-speed manual transmission power the Type S.
Acura NSX
The Acura NSX is a two-door coupe that provides comfort and excitement. It excels in handling, making it approachable for drivers of all levels. With up to 600 horsepower generated by its twin-turbo engine, the NSX accelerates rapidly and delivers a thrilling driving experience.
About Road America
Road America is a famous racing track in Wisconsin, hosting numerous yearly high-performance events. The racing season features more than 400 events. In 2024, Acura partnered with the SRO Motorsports Group to race the Type S and NSX. The track is over four miles long, featuring 14 turns, elevation shifts, and a long front stretch. Acura vehicles earned podium spots at two of the largest races at Road America: the GT World Challenge America and TC America events.
