Watching the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is always a rush, and HRC's newly released five-part docuseries makes it even more compelling by highlighting the standout moments of the Acura Meyer Shank Racing team. Acura's ARX-06 carried the number 93 throughout the competition.
HRC Introduces "Racing the Dream" Docuseries
Honda Racing Corporation—known as HRC—has rolled out “Racing the Dream,” a five-episode series that spotlights both the #93 Acura ARX-06 and the #60 Acura ARX-06. HRC is chiefly responsible for the engineering and strategic direction of the #93 car, while Acura MSR primarily handles the #60 entry. Fans will be able to follow the developments of both teams as they tackle the IMSA calendar together.
David Salters, President of Honda Racing Corporation USA, commented before the series launch: “Racing is all about people and building a strong team,” he says, “We engage in this sport to develop our people, technology, and tools, both at the track and back at our facilities in California and Indianapolis.”
According to Salters, the docuseries aims to immerse viewers in the thrill of HRC and the sport itself. He points out that racing involves “lows and highs, delight and despair,” promising a rich tapestry of stories across the five episodes. This series is a must-see if you're passionate about racing or are eager to see Honda's prowess in action. New installments will be available on YouTube as they're released.
HRC US designs and supports championship-winning racecars worldwide, managing everything from the powertrain and electronics to performance upgrades and team logistics. This docuseries offers an in-depth glimpse at HRC US's inner workings and the teamwork that fuels victories for HRC and Acura Motorsports.
