RSX Makes Its Debut at Monterey Car Week

Monterey Car Week is the stage where automakers reveal their latest and most impressive vehicles each year. This year, Acura unveiled its upcoming highlight: the all-new Acura RSX. Expected to arrive in late 2026, the RSX represents Acura's first exclusive all-electric vehicle, designed without outside brand collaboration.

About the RSX

The RSX nameplate has a long history within the Acura lineup. The first RSX was a stylish coupe offered in the early 2000s. Now, Acura is reviving the RSX with a contemporary design and an advanced EV platform. While exact specifications have not been announced, fans saw the RSX in person at this year's Monterey Car Week in Monterey, California.

On the outside, the RSX will boast a dynamic and aerodynamic profile. Highlights include a sloping roof, sculpted side panels, flush door handles, and a ducktail-inspired rear spoiler. Its lighting system will feature sharp LED headlights and Daytime Running Lights. The vehicle's sporty edge will be further emphasized with large 21-inch wheels and distinctive red brake calipers.

The Acura RSX isn't just about design—it's also engineered for exciting driving. Dual electric motors, standard all-wheel drive, and Brembo braking components will appeal to drivers who want both performance and efficiency in an electric vehicle.

Technology-wise, the RSX will introduce Acura's ASIMO OS, a cutting-edge infotainment and driver-assistance system that allows for personalization and a more connected driving experience.

Like many Acura models, the RSX will incorporate parts from both domestic and international sources.
