Specs at a Glance

The 2026 Acura RDX is built for drivers who crave both comfort and excitement. The Base trim delivers a luxurious experience with all the must-have features, while the A-Spec Advance steps things up with sportier styling and even more premium amenities. Let's see how these two trims compare.

Performance

Both the RDX Base and A-Spec Advance are powered by a 2.0-liter VTEC® turbo four-cylinder engine, producing 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission manages this energy. Furthermore, every RDX in this comparison features the brand's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD®) for enhanced stability.

In contrast to the RDX Base, the A-Spec Advance trim features an adaptive damper suspension system. This means you can customize the ride and handling to match your mood. Comfort mode is perfect for relaxed highway drives, while Sport mode stiffens the dampers for a more responsive, athletic feel.

Appearance

The RDX Base isn't your typical entry-level trim. It has the appearance of a high-end model, thanks to features like Jewel Eye LED headlights and 19-inch black alloy wheels.

The RDX A-Spec Advance takes things up a notch with its sport appearance package. You get exclusive 20-inch machine-finished wheels, plus LED fog lights and LED puddle lights that set it apart from the Base trim. There are also more exterior color options if you want to personalize your ride.

Features

Step inside the RDX Base and you'll find a well-equipped cabin. A panoramic roof and heated 12-way power front seats come standard. The 10.2-inch HD center display, controlled by Acura's True Touchpad Interface™, features full Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® compatibility. Drivers also benefit from a nine-speaker audio system, wireless charging, and AcuraWatch driver-assistance features.

The A-Spec Advance trim brings even more luxury to the table. Music lovers will appreciate the 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D® premium audio system, while 16-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation take comfort to the next level. Other upgrades include GPS-linked climate control, a head-up display, rain-sensing wipers, and a surround-view camera system for easier parking.
