The new NSX Type S is a higher-performance version of Acura's legendary supercar. Not only does the NSX Type S have a more aggressive look, but it also offers a new Gotham Gray paint color. Only 300 models will be available in the United States.

Acura only offers the new NSX Type S in a single trim. However, it's loaded with an extensive number of premium amenities, including heated sport seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. A new Alcantara headliner gives the cabin an especially luxurious feel. High-tech features make the NSX Type S more rewarding to drive. The car's driver-focused infotainment system features a 7.0-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation. Meanwhile, a nine-speaker ELS premium audio system gives your music an exciting sound.

2022 Acura NSX Type S Horsepower

Acura tweaked the car's twin-turbo V-6 hybrid powertrain to develop 600 horsepower and 492 lb-ft of torque. The extra muscle under the hood helps ensure even stronger acceleration than before. Meanwhile, a new Rapid Downshift Mode allows the car's DCT transmission to offer maximum responsiveness. To give you the best possible driving experience, engineers also retuned its torque-vectoring Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. On the car's list of options is a Lightweight Package, which adds carbon-fiber parts.
