2022 TLX Trims & Feature

Even the base Acura TLX comes loaded with desirable amenities. Heated sport seats and dual-zone automatic climate control help promote great everyday comfort. Standard tech includes a 10.2-inch HD touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, a 10-speaker audio system, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Opting for the sedan's Technology package brings more niceties. It adds a 13-speaker ELS Studio premium stereo system, navigation with a 3D view, and leather upholstery. Along with the package also comes a larger set of 19-inch alloy wheels.

If you desire a more aggressive look, choose the TLX's A-Spec package. Meanwhile, a flat-bottom performance steering wheel and aluminum pedals create a more exciting atmosphere for drivers. Other upgrades include ventilated front seats, a more powerful ELS Studio 3D sound system with 17 speakers, and wireless charging.

The Advance package transforms the TLX into a more luxurious car. A pair of 16-way front seats with bolster and thigh adjustments enhance comfort. You'll also appreciate Acura's adaptive suspension system. Heated rear seats and a head-up display are also included in the Advance package.

Serious driving enthusiasts will want the race-bred Type S model. It boasts a more powerful engine and additional performance goodies.

2022 Acura TLX Horsepower

Most TLX fans will be more than pleased with the TLX's standard turbo four-cylinder engine. It pushes out a fulfilling 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Drivers who desire an even more thrilling performance can step up to the TLX Type S. Its turbo V6 engine generates 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Every new TLX uses a 10-speed automatic transmission. While the standard powertrain offers Acura's Super Handling AWD system as an option, this feature is standard on the Type S model.

Acura TLX Safety

AcuraWatch, which is a collection of safety and driver-assist technologies, comes standard throughout the TLX lineup. A few highlights include Collision Mitigation Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, and Lane Keeping Assist. A Blind Spot Information System and a surround-view camera system are offered as well.
