2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec vs 2024 Acura ZDX Type S
The all-electric SUV market is expanding rapidly, and the 2024 Acura ZDX stands out. It features a high-performance all-electric powertrain known for its reliability, durability, and a more glamorous design than many other EV SUVs. We will be comparing the A-Spec and Type S trims of the all-electric 2024 Acura ZDX to help you understand their differences and decide which might be the right choice for you.
Performance
The ZDX offers both single and dual-motor configurations. The A-Spec trim with a single motor provides 358 horsepower, while the dual-motor A-Spec can reach up to 490 horsepower. The Type S trim comes standard with a dual-motor setup, delivering 500 horsepower. Torque also varies: the A-Spec RWD configuration offers 324 lb-ft of torque, and the A-Spec AWD dual-motor version provides 437 lb-ft of torque. The Type S trim boasts an impressive 544 lb-ft of torque.
Appearance
All Acura SUVs feature a luxurious design. The hood rises smoothly into a body-colored grille, complemented by striking LED headlamps and a lower blacked-out bumper, which are signature elements of the ZDX. Both the A-Spec and Type S trims feature a panoramic moonroof with tilt and slide, Jewel Eye LED headlamps, and Chicane LED taillights. The Type S trim adds sportier elements like a gloss black roof and an optional Sport appearance package. Pictures can't even show the elegance of the new ZDX; visiting our dealership to see them in person will give you a true sense of their distinct appearances.
Features
The Acura ZDX comes packed with standard features. All trims include an 11.3-inch color touchscreen display, an 18-speaker premium BANG & OLUFSEN sound system, and a wireless device charger. Seating varies significantly, with the A-Spec featuring perforated Milano premium leather-trimmed seats, while the Type S includes the same seats with a bold embossed Type S logo. Both trims offer heated and ventilated front seats, but the Type S adds 16-way power seats with power lumbar support. Exclusive to the Type S trim is tri-zone automatic climate control and advanced driver-assist features such as Hands-Free Cruise, Automatic Parking Assist, and Rear Pedestrian Alert. If you value the finer details, test-driving both trims will help you make a more informed decision.
