2020 Acura MDX Advance Exterior

How Often Should I Service My Acura MDX?

Like most cars, Acura MDX service intervals start at 15,000 miles. However, even though your Acura's service schedule might start simultaneously as other vehicles, it's critical to follow the exact service schedule in the owner's manual. Each manufacturer recommends different services for its vehicles based on model and trim. Bringing your car in for service at all Acura MDX service intervals is essential to ensure your car performs at its best, works properly, and lasts as long as possible.

15,000-Mile Service

Your Acura is due for the first of its mileage-based services at 15,000 miles. When it reaches this point, your car will need to have its tires checked for the proper pressure and tread depth. The tires will be rotated so that they don't wear unevenly. Your vehicle's oil will be changed at 15,000 miles, and the rear differential fluid will be changed. The engine's filter may be changed at 15,000 too so that the engine and fuel lines get adequate volumes of clean air.

30,000-Mile Service

The next mileage-based checkpoint for your Acura is 30,000 miles. The car's oil will most likely be changed again when it gets to 30,000 miles, and the engine filter will be changed again. The car may have its cabin air filter changed so that fresh air circulates through the interior. Your Acura's brake fluid may be flushed and replaced when the car hits 30,000 miles. The brakes will also be inspected to ensure they are not worn out.

60,000-Mile Service

At 60,000 miles, your Acura is due for its next mileage-based services. Your car will once again have its oil changed, and the engine filter may also be replaced again. The cabin air filter may be changed if necessary again, too. The tires will be rotated if you've gone more than 7,500 miles since the last rotation. The rear differential fluid will be changed at 60,000 miles, and the brake fluid gets flushed and replaced at this point.

90,000-Mile Service

When your car hits 90,000 miles, it will be scheduled for additional mileage-based services. An oil change will be performed again at 90,000 miles. The engine filter will likely also be replaced, along with the cabin air filter. The brake and coolant fluids in your vehicle will be flushed and replaced when your car reaches 90,000 miles. The spark plugs may be changed when your car hits 90,000 miles, and the timing belt may be replaced.
