Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?
It's expected that Acura will still offer three trims for 2021: Base, Premium, and Technology, and the A-Spec appearance package. The Base comes well-equipped with features such as a sunroof, LED headlights, heated front seats, and simulated leather. The Premium trim adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and leather seats add a sophisticated touch that appeals to most car shoppers. The Technology trim is where the Acura ILX takes the value to a higher realm. Acura includes many features as the standard with this trim, such as an 8.0-inch LED touchscreen with backlighting.
The other valuable features within the Technology model include ELS Studio Premium Audio System, Pandora Compatible 10 Speakers, Bluetooth and USB Audio Interface, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Siri Hands-free integration. A-Spec is an appearance package that is available for the Premium or Technology trims, features 18-inch wheels, and unique interior and exterior trim.
A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency
All ILX models get the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, pumping out 201 horsepower, with 180 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is 24 MPG in city driving and 34 MPG on the highway. All ILX models are front-wheel drive only.
Safety Features in the Forefront for 2021
The 2021 Acura ILX comes with many driver-assist technologies. The brand calls it the AcuraWatch Suite, and some of the technologies include adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, emergency braking, and blindspot monitoring. Through the Dynamic Guidelines technology, the multi-rearview camera shows you the seen and unseen while backing up.
