What Are the 2026 MDX Trims & Features?

Acura presents the MDX in six unique trims; even the base model is richly appointed. Highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, a panoramic glass roof, heated front seats, and a wireless charging pad.

The MDX Technology trim elevates the interior with premium Milano leather upholstery, while the Bang & Olufsen premium audio system delivers crisp, immersive sound. This model also adds remote start, integrated navigation, and parking sensors for extra convenience.

For a sportier look, the MDX A-Spec features aggressive exterior styling cues, a flat-bottom sport steering wheel, and ventilated front seats.

The MDX Advance focuses on comfort, introducing massaging front seats, a surround-view camera setup, and a head-up display. You can also opt for the MDX A-Spec Advance, which merges the A-Spec's sporty details with the Advance's luxury upgrades.

Topping the lineup is the MDX Type S Advance, which boosts power under the hood and adds an adaptive air suspension system for enhanced ride quality and handling.

How Much Power Does the 2026 MDX Have?

A naturally aspirated V6 engine powers most MDX trims, generating 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque, routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, though Acura's Super Handling AWD is available for improved traction. When properly equipped, the MDX can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

For an even more thrilling drive, the MDX Type S is equipped with a turbocharged V6 that cranks out 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, plus Brembo front brakes for superior stopping performance.

What Safety Features Does the 2026 MDX Include?

AcuraWatch, a comprehensive suite of safety and driver-assist features, is standard on every MDX. It includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System to help prevent frontal collisions and a Blind Spot Information System to assist with lane changes.
